I remember somewhat enjoying some Funkadelic cuts in the past, but their music never really touched me. This album doesn't do much for me either. It doesn't help, that I find a lot of funk music to be pretentious. I just feel like often times weird sounds and instruments are used just to be different, not because they sound cool.

Didn't really do much for me, seemed like fun uncomplicated rock though. I enjoyed listening to it on my drive home from work. I only knew one or two songs beforehand and I enjoyed some of their later work more. Mary Jane's last Dance is their best song imo.

I wasn't crazy about it at first but I kinda knew that there had to be more to it. And there is. Great album!

I don't think I'll ever get the hype around this album. I like a lot of the Stones songs, and none of the songs are bad, but it just goes on for quite a while and most songs don't really do much for me.

I always liked the title track, but I never really listened to the whole album. I wasn't blown away this time, but there are some great cuts on there!

I really like folk music, but this just seemed like some kind of bland folk-pop to me. I can see myself giving it another listen in the future, though. I really feel like there's more to discover with this release.

Unfortunately I didn't give this a full listen, but here are my thoughts from listening to the first half: I feel like this is well written music, however it really doesn't catch me. It just seems busy and kind of bland. I really should listen to it again and in full though.
