1001 Albums Summary

Engrossing listen, well-produced. Fake crowd noises are kind of a crutch but interesting. Classic late-60s heavy hippy stuff.

Not my thing. I can recognize the craft and ingenuity, but just not music I deeply enjoy. The long running time of the album and a lot of the songs is probably appreciated by fans, but really starts to drag for me.

Classic soul album, one of the best.

Good for what it is. Not mind-blowing.

Really opens up on the second side, becomes something special.
