1001 Albums Summary

Although I do feel like this album goes through many different moods that the artists do not transition well, I feel like that was what they were going for. It was a pretty sick rock album, with great ballads, unique production that sets it apart from any other artist that I have listened to, and excellent hooks that were pretty cool. Also, Hummer is an amazing track that is very underrated.

Going into this album, I knew it was a large milestone in alternative rock, but after diving into this piece, the thought, and effort, that went into every aspect is undoubtedly very noticeable. the way tracks like Crackity Jones and La La Love You can be on the same album, nonetheless back-to-back, and still work, shows how this album paves its own path. Although it can sound a bit obnoxious at some points, they are easily covered by the masterful instrumentals. Favourite Tracks: Wave of Mutilation, and Crackity Jones Least Favourite Tracks: No 13 Baby and Tame
