A fantastic album with a unique sound. I absolutely LOVE IT!!! The energy just bursts out of the speakers. 'Try Me' and 'I'll Go Crazy' are my favorite tracks. The audience was amazing and played a big part in giving the album its vibrant vibe. It’s a great live album, but to me, not necessarily a great album overall.
I hadn't heard of the group before, and the album wasn't my favorite. However, I did enjoy the tracks 'Add It Up' and 'Gimme the Car.' While I generally like noisy songs, the vibe of this album felt too chaotic for my taste, with the noise seeming out of rhythm. Overall, it didn't stand out as anything special to me.
It’s such a pity that I had never heard of Nick Drake before. His album is truly great. It’s not filled with a lot of tones, but it’s full of spirit. My favorite tracks are “Things Behind the Sun” and “Parasite.” His vocals, guitar, and the solitude vibe are fantastic.
The album showcases some excellent work. The slow songs stand out as the best, and overall, the album is one of my favorites. My favorite tracks are 'Pale Blue Eyes' and 'Candy Says.' The experimental aspect of 'Murder Mystery' was particularly special, leaving me in awe
The fusion side of the album was fantastic. However, what brought the album from a 4 to a 3 for me was this: I listened to it five times. Initially, I would have rated it a 5, but with each listen, it seemed to lose some of its appeal. Despite that, the great thing about the album is that there isn't a single bad or mediocre track. Every song is either good or great. My favorites were 'Red Rain' and 'In Your Eyes,' with the latter standing out especially because of the collaboration with Youssou N'Dour.
The album started off strong, and while the second half slowed down, it eventually shaped up into a great work. I love Jack White's voice and singing style. My favorite tracks are "Hypocritical Kiss" and "Weep Themselves to Sleep." Although I wouldn’t call the album a masterpiece overall, "Weep Themselves to Sleep" has become one of my all-time favorite songs.
I was familiar with Paul Simon, but I had never listened to one of his albums before. This was my first experience, and unfortunately, it didn’t impress me much. I found the album to be mediocre. However, I did enjoy the tracks “Duncan” and “Run That Body Down.”
