1001 Albums Summary

The Who has never been something that has hit for me, even in their time it never made much sense to me why they were put on this pedestal, as a great and influential band, this live album showcases, in my opinion, the mediocrity of this band as a whole when you compare them to many other big bands from this time period. Favorite Song: Amazing Journey / Sparks

Overall a decent album for its time, a bit too long for its sound to maintain long term interest in full album listens. Favorite song: Private Life

Interesting idea for it's time but becomes a drag as many songs give the sense of an eternity passing by aching slow just to dive into another one droning on, there isn't too much excitement to this album. Favorite song: Sometimes

Big fan of what she did for hip hop and this album a staple to showcase that women in the genre play a powerful and important rule to change/improve it all together

Classic and solid album, strong start that begins to fizzle a bit toward the end but overall a solid listen if the mood calls for mellow Favorite Song: VCR
