1001 Albums Summary

To quote Bill Hicks: "The Beatles were so high, they even let Ringo sing a few tunes." This has a fabulous collection of tracks and, to me, stands out as one of their best.

Not really my kind of thing.

I wouldn't listen to this again as something to particularly listen to, but it would be great as an album to play while having a dinner party.

This has a number of really strong songs. I think the best were the ones chosen to be singles. Would I listen to it again? Maybe not but it's still a decent album.

Yeah, quite liked this. There is definitely a Rolling Stones feel to a number of tracks. The sound and feel of the tracks are very much of the era and it's a sound you can't easily replicate in the modern era. There's definitely a place for old school rock.
