1001 Albums Summary

it was a whole experience listening to this album, I was amazed because at first, I thought it would be a more difficult listen (like the music you have to be previously acquainted with) but most of the songs are easily enjoyable and instantly likable

the sound is unique and not similar to what I usually listen to, but I am glad I had the chance to check it out. I think it needs more than a few listens until you get accustomed to the overall vibe, but it seems like it would be worthwhile after all

the nice parts: - it feels like a journey through European folklore music; as a Balkan-ish (Romanian) I identified similar sounds and it felt good, in a bit of a nostalgic way - you would not expect this kind of album to be on a must-listen top, but I feel like it deserves its spot; it's a nice mix and I enjoyed listening to it the not so nice parts: - the drunken-like voice kind of annoyed me, but I get it
