1001 Albums Summary

First track is very enjoyable, the rest sort of blends together for me. Overall an enjoyable listening experience, but not necessarily my cup of tea.

Álbum didn’t really stand out to me until the 3rd song So In Love, followed by another standout for me Hard Times.

One of my favorite bands, with some of my favorite songs.

Definitely not my favorite Bowie album

I've never been an Arctic Monkeys fan, I don't hate them, I just never paid them any attention. They were popular at a time when I didn't think it was cool to be popular, a time when I was too busy listening to the hardcore punk albums of the 70s and 80s. I can't say I was surprised I loved this album all the way through. Arctic Monkeys takes everything I love about The Strokes, The White Stripes, and other early 2000s alt rock bands and reflects a familiarity that is comforting while introducing their own sound into the mix to keep it fresh.
