1001 Albums Summary

Interesting album. I particularly like the weird syncopation with the flutes in "watermelon man". It's definitely a departure from my typical 2-4min lyric-heavy tracks, but something that I could be happy growing familiar with

I usually hate live albums, but this one's not bad. Not sure if it's the genre, but it just adds character. I feel like I should be walking downtown or through a park 😁 This long form instrumental music tends to lose the attention of my fast-paced, ever-growing state of mind pretty quickly however. I think I want a chance to learn it be inspired through my music, and slowly evolving ambient stuff doesn't quite fit that bill

I didn't realize this album is almost 55 years old. It's surprisingly diverse: punk, metal, ambient. With classics like War Pigs, Paranoid, and Iron Man, this album is clearly a strong influence for all of the heavier music that I love.

Super groovy. I really wanted to rate this one higher, but I found the "DJ" interludes annoying, they took away from the music. I bet it's sooo much fun live, but it's weird in a recorded format...

Space. Heaven. The journey to the beyond. Such a relaxing album. Will definitely be returning here from time to time.

Beautiful album, but the names are where my appreciation lie. Apparently this was adapted to a Broadway play, pretty cool.
