I thought I liked Hot Chip. But apparently I only like OLD Hot Chip. Two songs tickled my fancy but previous albums are just better and more fancy and fun.

A little all over the place like a mixtape but some songs are pretty great. Like a baby Jay Z with similar flow but a weaker voice.

I can't believe I've never heard this album. Really odd mix of 80s synths and blues rock but with ballad lyrics. Can't say it was my favorite.

I love this album. Reminds me of college house parties where we would host hardcore bands coming through Tempe. Bummed to hear the singer died last year - he definitely has one of the greatest rock voices ever.

I'm not sure if I've ever heard this entire album all the way through, but I definitely dig the jazzy vibes on some of the songs and Van Morrison has a completely unique voice that's unmistakable. Short and sweet.

I can't say I've heard this album before. Maybe it needs more than one listen, but it didn't resonate.

This shit is fucking whacky. Not in a bad way.
