1001 Albums Summary

Why not, some good songs that understandably became legendary, a signature guitare sound, but nothing that amazed me, especially the fact that it was released in 79. I was expecting more experimental or at least fresh and modern.

I am not a great hip-hop listener but I think I appreciate this record. It sounds really alive, with a good mix of genres that show a true attention to songwriting. Deserves a second, third, fourth listen in order to understand everything and appreciate the record in its best aspect. Really nice drums, I loved that. (perhaps the whole thing is a little bit too long ...) Songs I liked and saved : Sure Shot, Futterman's Rule, Ricky's Theme, The Scoop

This is just so good, I knew the record already but a other listen was not a bad thing. The depth, the subtle voices and groovy bass, really good.

Nothing that struck me... why not but definitely not an album I would give a second listen.

Never too much Elvis, great occasion to listen to this genius man again. Such a warm atmosphere in the voice and the music.
