'this is a call' - catchy. great chorus(es). vocals a little grating but typical for the genre. whinier than expected, only really enjoy that in skramz/emo. 'ill stick around' - MUCH better. catchy guitar riff in the chorus, and much better lyrics. 'big me' - a little boring, but i do like the airiness of the track. softer guitar. getting a weird beach boys vibe from this? 'alone + target' - ok this is a little better than TIIAC but these songs are starting to blur together a little bit. 'good grief' - the start intrigued me far more than anything else has so far. dear god i actually like this. a lot more fast-paced, maybe a little punk influence in the guitar. i think i just hate this guys singing 'floaty' - this track is if jeff buckley kind of sucked a little. meh 'weenie beenie' - everything is blurring again. theres only so many times you can have a chorus of the same thing. this was much more aggressive and yet felt so soulless. 'oh george' - okay now this is better than the previous track. im ignoring the realisation that it sounds like something directly off the sonic adventures soundtrack. much more solid. 'for all the cows' - man what. 'x-static' - by this point im already sighing by the time the next track plays in this album. get away from the microphone. this album smells warm and damp. 'wattershed' - Ugh 'exhausted' - no comment. Ok. thank god its over i am never listening to this again

'changes' - GREAT start to an album, holy shit. immediate funk blast to the face. love the bass in the back. usually i think piano is jarring but it works here. 8/10 'oh you pretty things' - speaking about jarring piano...bowie sounds great here, though. a mild banger. 6.5/10 'eight line poem' - man WHAT are you talking about. gentle tune though. like it. but nothing interesting. 5/10 'life on mars' - come on now. 9/10 'kooks' - very bouncy. dare i say very abbey road. the piano is actually whimsical and entertaining here. title matches the song LOL. 7.5/10 'quicksand' - this song makes me want to sit in an old black leather chair and smoke a cigarette. 7/10 'fill your heart' - i actually adore the piano in a song for once holy shit. MUST go back to this on a sunny day. maybe an april. 8/10 'andy warhol' - another 'what are you talking about' song. still okay. this album is clearly pretty good. 6/10 'song for bob dylan' - Yeah. much more going on in this song than the others. very elton john to me. 7.5/10 'queen bitch' - i didnt expect anything impressive in the last half so im thoroughly surprised. 8/10 'the belway brothers' - man. what a closer. nothing to say. great album 8.5/10
