Great soul/funk album, my journey to reach 1001 starts here!

Too long, got bored halfway through. I guess I don't like sad Beck.

Decent. 3+

Melancholic and dark (no shit). Cohen's voice is as powerful as always, and I enjoyed this album even though I probably won't revisit it in the future.

Short but great, an amazing soul album. 4.5

Did not expect it to be as good as Fear Of a Black Planet or It Takes a Nation, but was pleasantly surprised. 52 minutes of unrelenting energy with great production from The Bomb Squad. 4/5

I prefer Loveless, especially because of the vocals on this one.

I don’t like her voice, the instrumentals were pretty good though. Way too long.
