In an alternative universe were Kendrick is a woman this is TPAB Favourite songs: To Zion, When it hurts so bad, Everything is everything Alright but not as good as most people say (rym glorified track)
Started off strong (love vigilantes etc) but then petered out in the middle (Elegia) and then finished strong (Face up) Favourite songs: Face up Felt repetitive and not much stood out Still a decent album but wouldn't choose to listen to it with headphones, only in background I really enjoyed face up though Didn't compare to some of their other works that are more brave such as age of consent
Other than biggie and maybe nas strongest music from east coast Favourite songs: CREAM, Tearz Nice flow between tracks that makes the album feel like one long song Can get boring in parts
Favourite songs: September in the rain, be anything but darling be mine Album manages to transport you back to the majestic era of the 50s in chicago It being a live album really elevates it
Favourite songs: Salt of the Earth, Stray cat blues Beautiful lyrics really elevated this album from an ordinary rock album of the 60s to something slightly better
Hard to describe but I feel my mind drifting when listening to this album Sounds beautiful but for me I feel like the absence of lyrics means I can't fully be absorbed in the song Still a good classic Favourite songs: All blues Just not what music I'm craving to listen to right now, I need me some monkey gone to heaven
Favourite songs: the world is a ghetto, the Cisco kid Felt a little drawn out at certain points, e.g. city country city, which I know is intentional but wasn't to my liking Otherwise, Beautiful music paired with beautiful lyrics and you can't go wrong
Really enjoyed listening to this one due to the wide variety in instruments, lyrics and even genres at certain points Favourite songs: Forest fire, are you ready to be heartbroken Definitely will relisten to this one in the near future
