Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Dec 15 2024

One song in and the guitar got vibrato. Production on this project is pretty great. Didn’t even realize this was “metal” until I read the reviews. Shows how much I know about metal or rock for that matter. Good project tho! Guitars were tantalizing. 3.5/5

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Dec 15 2024

Really great writing on this one. This is the type of music I’d play outside walking through a warm and sun-dappled forest. Perhaps after getting high on some natural substances. Good vibes and a hopeful tone. 3.5/5

Not my cupa tea but I like prices

“Standing in the rain” bruh you were late and she was on time, she prolly left after waiting a long time. Who’s the inconsiderate one here? Anyways, I don’t hate this album, it’s just that this sound gets a little stale after like the 4th song. I wish there were more peaks and valleys, but you just kinda stay at this plateau the entire time. I did like “She Floated Away” it caught my interest more than a lot of the others. The biggest thing this album does right is the writing, I enjoyed all the different metaphors and felt that they were pretty successful. Also, maybe I just don’t understand music production, but some of this mixing is so muddy and the vocals get lost in the sauce. I could just be ignorant to a certain “sound” tho. 2/5

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem
Jan 11 2025

Back when this kinda rap came off as authentic, raw, and fun. Now when Em tries to do it it just feels corny. This album just got something in it, idk how to explain it. Legendary nonetheless. 4/5

Very 80s. 3/5

Group Sex by Circle Jerks

Don’t listen to a lot, if any, real punk music so I feel like this was a great introduction to the genre.
