1001 Albums Summary

Basic, straightforward. Not a lot going on with the lyrics. "Girl" is a much loved word in several of the songs. The album felt repetitive, and a little too punky and upbeat.

Good lyrics. Good melody. There were a few songs that were catchy and/or spoke to me: Billy Jack, So In Love, Jesus, When Seasons Change. Overall, good vibes.

There are a couple of songs that caught my attention: Take Your Mama, Mary, It Can't Come Quickly Enough, and Return To Oz. Their rendition of Pink Floyd's 'Comfortably Numb' was OK, but I still prefer the original. All-in-all, this was pretty straightforward and kind of what you'd expect the early 2000s to sound like. Nothing to really rave about, but not completely unworthy either.

Everything sounds the same. It's too loud. Kind of stresses me out.

And You & I is probably my favorite of the three.
