1001 Albums Summary

I like Radiohead. I think in my Last.fm days it was one of my most played artists. It's hard to rate this album fairly knowing what other albums are to come after and how influential they are. I'm definitely more fond of experimental electronic Radiohead and Kid A is still one of my favorite albums to this day. This is actually the first time I've listened to this album through and it's incredibly emotional. There are a couple OUTSTANDING tracks. Iron lung is insane. I personally feel like If you put this up against other alternative rock from the era it loses a little bit of its luster. There's so much great stuff out there. If I want to hear this style of music I'm much more likely to go for some Sonic Youth, Smashing pumpkins, Dinosaur Jr. Etc. Great album but I don't really see myself revisiting again soon

I have listened to Björk when I was younger and at the time I felt like it was more art than listenable music to me. Supposedly this her most accessible album and I loved it. Very much in an electronic music phase and was surprised at how housey some of it is. Deep, dark, fun and bright I really enjoyed the contrast in the songs too
