1001 Albums Summary

Pretty good. Definitely a foundational album, and I enjoyed it. Higher Ground is the stand out track for me.

Foundational, you can definitely hear the influence this had on later music. Just not really my vibe, I guess? It was good, but I wasn’t blown away, I suppose.

Pretty good. Cool to hear progenitors of punk. I could hear the Bowie production too, without knowing Bowie did production for this record. The “obvious” standout track is The Passenger; just a good song. The less obvious standout for me though was Neighborhood Threat. Some genuinely funny moments on this album (“oh shit!”), and some dated lyrics. Good overall!
