okay first song statesboro blues. sounds alright so far, love a good guitar. tbh I already like the Allman brothers band so I kinda knew what to expect anyway. this has a really good guitar sound I like it, and it's groovy ig that's the right word to say? like it's got a good beat and everything. um I'm really stupid and silly so even tho I can read the lyrics I can't understand them so it has no impact on my enjoyment of the song or I'd say something bout them. sorry done somebody wrong okay nice opening. sounds funky too I like it. they sure know how to make a nice little dancey tune and his voice is good for it too. is this what the 70s were like? YO love a nice guitar this guitar gives me harmonica vibes unless it's actually an harmonica and not just a guitar. I don't hear harmonicas much in my life so now I'm a bit hopeful. okay it was maybe an harmonica and now this is the guitar. they don't sing much, huh? but when you make music this good, who needs to sing all through it? the lyrics aren't on so I can't read them and I can't hear cause I'm so silly but it feels like one of those happy songs that are only happy cause you're one step away from losing your marbles. does that make sense. you're insane and it's catching up to you. okay cool that was a good song. stormy monday. are these guys perpetually sad or something? is this the truth behind the American dream? anyway, it's got a slow opening oh my god these guys need to be in a jazz bar or something bro I'm telling you. I thought the allman brothers band was just like rock folk or something but admittedly I am very poor at recognising genres. this is a slow song I like it though I can imagine a wee guy singing this and feeling like he's a cooler version of Elvis. okay I read through the lyrics bro is going through it. I completely get it. we love a good song that mentions the days of the weeks. those are some of my favourite songs. especially when they're a bit depressing BUT this one also is really jazzy and funky god it's so good to hear. and I love a song that mentions the lord and begging for mercy. oh my god this song is almost 9 minutes long. they were really going through it then huh. but it is beautiful. one of those songs it's nice to listen to while just not doing anything and experiencing the world and the song together. oh okay it kicked up a little bit. it's funny how guitar and drums and what have you can be just as emotional and informative as a voice with words is. oh hell yeah more of this. I love this. idk what instrument it is. piano. something like that. HARMONICA?? I still don't know. do these guys have harmonicas and do they play them? something to ponder. wind instruments are really cool actually. all instruments are. this is like maybe a dad song. imagine this playing and you're like 4 or 5 and you walk into the kitchen relatively early evening and your dad is there humming along to this in a little apron and his best dress shirt. and he sees you and he smiles and picks you up. you dance together with giggles and hollers. you'll never truly know your father. but you'll always love him and you'll always be his little angel. and this is a memory that neither of you will forget. just embraced in eachothers arms in your own little world. you don't love me. I have to come back to this.
