1. Listless regretful song about a sunday morning after a particularly hard Saturday. 2. Waiting for a fix with a constant percussive beat in the background creating anxiety. 3. Soft song about a seductive woman who will break your heart 4. Jam song about sadomasochism. Sound as though the writer would give up their life to serve in a bdsm relationship. 5. Song following characters who need to find their fix of various drugs after trying to stop. The guitar solos are increasingly out of tune and brash. 6. Another driftless song of a time I don't really understand. 7. First song that connected with me. Has a changing energy related to his drug use but isn't glorified in any way like most music. This sounds like the birth of the music that I listen mostly to now (punk) 8.Jam song related to prostitution. Ends with almost a modern type punk chord progression. 9. Another song with Nico. I for some reason cannot connect with the vocals when she is featured. Song mostly related to trying to show someone what they don't see. 10. Unsettling beat in the background while making a folksy/poetic style talk song about drug use. 11. Short song reference with a scratching noise to close out the album. Overall I think this album misses me. It has some pieces and the bright spot was the song Heroin but I don't think the avant garde pieces connected.
