Ramones by Ramones

First of its kind, but not the most exciting for me. Kinda fun, but a bit too simple.

Moving Pictures by Rush
Jan 30 2025

Great album. Brings back great memories with my first guitar teacher. Rush was his favorite band. I forgot how great of a bass player Geddy Lee is. Maybe I have more of an appreciation now that I play. His tone is one of my favorite rock bass tones ever. All of them are incredible musicians. RIP Neal Peart. I think my favorite is either Tom Sawyer or Red Barchetta. Drags on a bit in the back half but still some of the most interesting rock music out there.

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Jan 31 2025

Most 90’a album ever. Fun, aggressive. Can’t complain too much. Songs might be a tad too long.

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Feb 03 2025

Fun. Very groovy. Trippy. Really can’t complain about anything

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Feb 04 2025

Felt a bit like a carnival. Inventive. But feels like straightforward 70’s rock as well.

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
Feb 05 2025

Lovely old school RNB. More guitar-forward than most older RnB which is kinda cool. Lots of solos. Great vocals. Just drips with soul.
