The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Feb 10 2025

The Stone Roses- self titled 4.8/5⭐️ ༘˚⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧˚ i love old british pop music. TURN THAT SHIT UPPPP. reminiscent of blur, oasis …the beatles. the first song kinda reminded me of sour girl from STP with the dreamy instrumentals (hoping that’s a staple for the album because i really like it ^^). okay currently on track four. and i wish i knew how to better describe it but the instruments for this album is SO GOOOD. very melodic and soulful. i would say this album is very consistent with their hits. a lot of songs in here are really really good. tbh i thought i was gonna hate this album bc i do judge books by their covers and the cover for this album is UGH-LEE. but i am pleasantly surprised. this is probably my favourite aotd yet!! edit: THE GUITAR FOR THE LAST SONG OMGG. immediately shot up the placement of the last song for me. ——— stand out songs: i wanna be adored, she bangs the drums💕, waterfall, bye bye bad man, SFMSSS💕💕💕, made of stone, this is the one💕💕, i am the resurrection💕💕💕

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Feb 11 2025

Martin Gaye- Let’s Get it On || 4.4/5⭐️ ༘˚⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧˚ WE GOT AN RNB ALBUM. the jazzy instrumentals on this are SOOO GOOD. especially for track three. very soulful and yk. charged. his vocals are super smooth and very like dreamlike with the way it’s mixed. and this album is extremely consistent. very good all throughout. i can see how this album is a staple for /and help shaped the rnb genre. stand out songs- let’s get it on, if i should die tonight💕💕, keep getting it on, come get to this💕💕💕, you sure love to ball

British Steel by Judas Priest
Feb 12 2025

British Steel- Judas Priest ||2/5⭐️ ༘˚⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧˚ judas judas judas…. priest. what can i say about you❤️ very forgettable. and perhaps it’s because i didn’t do my usual method of write and listen but i just felt like most of these songs were. meh. good background noise for bio class tho. and maybe i’m being harsh and unfair but tbh i am not the biggest metal fan. stand out song: breaking the law

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
Feb 13 2025

Sound of Silver- LCD Soundsystem ||4.5/5⭐️ ༘˚⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧˚ SUCH A STRONG START WITH THE FIRST TRACK. i like the slow build up to the beat and it’s just so funky and futuristic ig idk i kinda love it. the cheering for the first song is so cute too. idk i love when songs do that cuz then it just like lives in my brain for the rest of the day. however the song loses points for that ear piercing ass star wars laser sound effect. i’m excited for what the rest of the album has in store ^^. i feel like im yapping but holy shit. all my friends so SO GOOD. THE EMOTION WITH THE VOCALS AND THE BUILD UP OF THE MUSIC BEHIND MAKES U RLLY FEEL THE IMPACT. the desperation to keep things the same but ultimately being unable to is just so GOOFOFKFIFOI this song hits HARD. easily my favourite. overall this is an album that once again surprised me, i really liked it! however i do find some songs overstayed their welcome (us vs them did nawt need to be almost 7 minutes) and others i find are *good* but not great yk? _______________________ stand out songs: time to get away, north american scum🥈, someone great, all my friends🥇, watch the tapes🥉,

Colour By Numbers by Culture Club
Feb 16 2025

Colour by Numbers- Culture Club || 2.7/5⭐️ >very cute so far!! i like how “dreamy” their sound is. this whole album is just so 80s. >I LIKE IT. idc if they’re a one hit wonder this album is very consistent although a bit same-y. it’s going for something simple and it executes that very well. the melody is nice and i love the sound of that 80s mic quality. also i accidentally had ts on shuffle for two songs so ignore the whack sorting of my stand out songs bc idc enough to fix it. > giving it a three, overall it’s not bad or anything but compared to other albums this can’t compare. also some songs like ‘changing every day’ had such a strong start to disappoint me mid way through with the lacklustre vocals and harmonies. LIKE IT STARTED OF SO GOOD I WAS LIKE “purr ts is fs second🥈” just to hear that mid ass chorus. and it’s not just that song, it’s throughout the album. lwk hard to rank bc they all feel on the same level🥲 _______________________ stand out songs: karma chameleon🥈, it’s a miracle, mister man, victims🥇, church of the poison mind, miss me blind🥉, storm keeper

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Feb 18 2025

5/5 for sure the black parade is mcrs best album 🗣️🗣️🗣️ (i actually wrote a review and stuff but i don’t think anyone other than me did a substitution so my bad gang❤️❤️❤️)

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Feb 19 2025

Vol. 4- Black Sabbath ||4.5/5⭐️ ༘˚⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧˚ uhhh totally didn’t write this tdy on the bus😅😅🥰🥰🤫🤫 it’s insanely better than british steel (more like bollocks steel am i right fellas?!?!) the instrumentals are really good! i really like supernaut for that reason, really good defined sound with a little bit of really good vocals. i also love laguna sunrise, it threw me off a bit with the change in sound but oh my god it’s such a beautiful melody like what the hell😿 the accoustic with like the beautiful violin in the back and it being all slow paced like some love ballad?? i think that’s rlly cool. i was a little nervous at first bc judas priest left a bad taste in my mouth for the genre but this album has completely fixed that. overall id say all the songs are pretty strong, i really like the more heartfelt ones fs^^ the only song i find myself really hating is FX but that’s just like beeps and boops. ______________________ stand out songs: wheels of confusion/ the straightener, changes🥇, supernaut, snowblind🥈, cornucopia, laguna sunrise🥉, st. vitus dance, under the sun/ ever day comes and goes

Feb 20 2025

Eli And The Thirteenth Confession- Laura Nyro || 4/5⭐️ ༘˚⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧˚ another great album, and thank god because for the last 4 days we had a bunch of flops. i really love her sound it’s perfectly right up my alley. it’s very pretty, a little whimsical with the way it’s composed, and i guess jazzy?? (buca bucillo) if i could compare her to anything i’d say very fiona apple. ______________________ stand out songs: luckie, sweet blindness, poverty train🥇, lonely woman, timer, stoned soul picnic

The Coral by The Coral
Feb 23 2025

Coral-Self titled || 1.4/5⭐️ ༘˚⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧˚ this sounds like pirate music. didn’t like. wanted to play ptv instead. i liked three songs tho which means i can give them medals^^ ___________________ standout songs: 🥈i remember when, 🥇dreaming of you, 🥉wild fire

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
Feb 28 2025
