1001 Albums Summary

Clearly a high-quality body of work but not to my own personal taste.

A classic album from Neil Young. Not as good as Harvest, in my opinion, and suffers from feeling too short. Some great tracks and a few less great fillers.

It was ok, might take a few listens but not particularly up-beat or to my own taste. In 2025 it actually feels a bit dated.

For me the Eagles will always be a greatest hits kind of band. Album starts out really strongly and finishes well. A bit of nonsense in the middle.

Obviously a beautifully produced album, a classic. However, the sound of the 80s that this represents has not aged particularly well. I enjoyed it, with several stand-out tracks, but not particularly to my taste.

I appreciate that this won a mercury music prize so must be viewed as decent by a group of people. But absolutely not for me. Perhaps it could b a grower if I listened several times but I'm not prepared to do that. Not my thing at all.

still sounds as good today as it did back in the early 90s. A beautiful album and REM's best in my opinion.

quite simply the greatest album of all time.

I'm sure it's a good album and has some nice songs but it's not my thing.

Haven't listed to this album for many years. I remember it being really good but was disappointed with this revisit. There are still 3 or 4 good songs on there but a lot of fillers. I don't think it has aged particularly well.
