While still a strong lp, I have always found this less satisfying than the Ziggy lp. It's not as cohesive, less flow, less thought out. More a collection of songs. I do NOT enjoy Lets Spend the Night Together at all. It's the only skipper on the kp, and quite honestly, its the first skipper since the Space Oddity lp.

I have not listened to this moody masterpiece in years. It is very different than what came before or after. Heavy joy division influence. Darker, more arty, heavy vibe, floats. Sounds even better today than it did 25 years ago

Bring the motherfucking ruckus! This is a classic for a reason, the beats still hit hard and cut like 1000 blades. There is an edge to the production. As a group they would never top this, but individually they have come real close a few times

A landmark, a monument. The ultimate lp of its kind. The only thing that comes close is Donuts. The ability to tell a compelling story using only samples and beats is remarkable.

It's good, but I enjoy them more starting with Fear of Music. Although the live versions on The Name of the Band is.... are pretty great.
