Okay, I'm sorry but these vocals are just grating on my ears. Melody and bass are really repetitive and flat, auditory drudgery to get through.
Better than the albums so far.
Best album so far. Interesting melodies, nice vocals, non-boring. Softer version of OG Panic! and Fallout Boy?
Givin' me the feels.
Sort of dreary, though the lyrics are sometimes interesting.
Bluesey chill grungy vibe with distinct vocal style. Reminds me of "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" by Cage the Elephant. Not bad in isolation but I got tired of one song after the other.
More upbeat than a lot of the stuff so far. Goes between indie rock and music you might here in a lil pub. Lyrics are fun, sometimes a bit preachy. A couple ballads here and there. Harps a lot on the failure and injustice of government and politicians. Vocal style is kinda droopy with a heavy British accent, has the affect of making you feel sorry for the guy singing.
Favorite tracks were Southbound Again and Wild West End. Good music quality, seems to focus on the skill of the guitarist. Vocals were cool, if a bit grungey from time to time. A lot of these songs sound like movie soundtracks or road trip songs. I generally liked them, but they're not very singable for me which is a downside.
