i didn't know how I was going to feel about it, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. I find it fascinating that there are only two modes for women in old school country though-- they're either bad bitches that deserve to be shot or the steadfast and beautiful object of affection.

I'm deeply amused that this album was born the same year I was, and I loved it.

like proto-radoiohead but sadder and more boring. it's very same-y. one song at a time is probably fine but the whole album is exhausting

Adele has a lovely lovely voice and I am always in awe. this album again has the same issue that I have with contemporary romance novels and that it's always about one thing and it's either I'm so happy or I'm so sad which you know is valid. it's the artist's expression of their own feelings, but the entire album together is a lot. :P

eh. Eminem is truly talented and has impeccable flow but he's just not my thing

lord, every song goes on for too long and makes me feel like i need more drugs

this album is wildly atmospheric and though I enjoyed it, it absolutely wanted to put me to sleep.
