Boston by Boston
Mar 11 2025

Man, does this album bring back memories. I remember liking it when it was released, but was surprised so many people thought it was the best album ever. Listening to it now, it does have a clean, crisp, and slightly breezy rock n roll feel to it. Which was different than most albums of the time, that’s probably why people lost their minds over it. It is good rock n roll.

Synchronicity by The Police
Mar 12 2025

I listened to it twice. It sounded much better the second time. I’d never to listened to a whole Police album before. I don’t expect to listening to it much in the future.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Mar 13 2025

I remember loving this album when it was released. It doesn’t quite hold up, sounds a bit dated. It does have a lot great guitar riffs by Eddie Van Halen. David Lee Roth has a definite swashbuckling attitude to his singing which is still enjoyable. It caught my attention that this album has a bright, crisp, and tight feel to it, much like Boston’s debut album. I wonder if Boston had a conscious influence on Van Halen.

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Mar 17 2025

I like it. Mainly has a grungy sound but not as much as many other grunge bands.

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Mar 18 2025

Nice reggae album

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden
Mar 20 2025

I remember dismissing Iron Maiden in the ‘80s. This was the first Iron Maiden album I’ve listened to the end. I don’t think I’ll listening to another one. I did laugh when I saw a note that the British public in 2012 voted this as the greatest album of all time.

Sea Change by Beck
Mar 24 2025

Beautiful album. I loved his acoustic guitar playing.
