Can't believe I'd never heard the rest of this before album before. Hearing a big influence on particularly 2010s funk guitar, think Cory Wong or RAM. Thinking Of You is good as FUCK. The flute sample in Easier to Love is killer.
I'm never not afraid that Thom Yorke is having a stroke and Amnesiac certainly doesn't help that feeling. Standout tracks for me personally were Pulk/Pull and I Might Be Wrong
I really love the instrumentation on this album, particularly the eclectic little hits and an accordion player who WILL. NOT. QUIT. Simon sounds amazing, but I did find my attention drifting from the vocals often.
As a big fan of Violator, I was really surprised by how little this album did for me. Some cool sounds, and a surprisingly pop punk energy behind the first half, but yeah, very middle of the road.
The soundtrack to a perfectly quaint day or micro adventure. Stunning sax on here. a wonderful display of restraint and release
While I'm not a huge fan of Muddy Waters due to some of the lyrical content, you gotta admit that this show is nonstop shit kicking blue goodness. They rip, pain and simple
Going into this album I had thought Young all sounded very samey, particularly his voice, but this album proved me wrong. At moments I heard Dylan, at moments Plant, but was pleasantly entertained throughout. Really enjoyed Revolution Blues and For the Turnstiles.
I really enjoyed this album! It sort of sounds like if Geese got a studio contract in the 70s lol. Very good listen, definitely going in my normal rotation!
Very good, really loved a lot of different aspects of this album. One thing I particularly enjoyed, for some reason, was the contrast in microphone quality between the instruments and vocals. Great jams on here. Wow
With perhaps the exception of Mandela, this album just drips cool. Unbelievable solo work here and melodies that certainly move you
