1001 Albums Summary

Very pleasant, some songs I was familiar with.

I don't really like this. Not terrible but not for me.

I quite liked. Some of the songs I already knew.

I really liked this. Particularly like the orchestration and the chorus sections. Great drums too, for songs that aren't heavy.

I've listened to this before, but I don't remember much. Let's see. This era and this kind of rock bands never leave much of an impact on me, and that's true of most of the album, but the title track is really good, added it to my Liked playlist

Famously good for sex music, and it's pleasant for sure, but it's not really my kind of music for normal listening.

Soft-folk/country. Not unpleasant but not my kind of music. Nothing here for me.

Rap is not my style, but this is nice enough, I enjoyed it. Old school style rap, which is better than the newer, mumbley stuff.

I like the hits by the Pixies, but I can't say I'm too familiar with their other material. This one didn't leave much of an impression on me, other than the confirmation that there's significant similarities between some songs by Pixies and some by The Pillows, a band I really like. Which is to be expected, the Pillows has a song dedicated to Kim Deal, a member of Pixies.

I appreciate the dark sense of humor, but Eminem's work has never been for me, even back in the day. Liked some of the bases tho, like Rock Bottom's.
