Deja Vu
Crosby, Stills, Nash & YoungWow. Stunning. Can't believe I've never listened to this.

I like the synths more than the guitars.
I like this a lot.
makes me think of dad but also like tim allen. i lik organ
Absolutely stunning.
I guess I always wrote this off, as I often do with things that seem *too* lauded. But wow. On every level this is a magnificent piece of work.
The first track had me hooked, but then it completely lost me. It's a shame as there are some wonderful ingredients here. I can certainly hear the influence on a number of later bands.
It starts a lot worse than it finishes. Some stylistic darting around and clichés give way to some genuinely interesting producing and soulful delivery.
What an absolute treat this was!
It's not bad, honestly. But I guess the recent zeitgeist has inspired some kind of revulsion against this sound world. It's nicely written music, and probably one of the better examples of this era of folk-tinged indie pop. But it just lacks emotional heft. And for music that's so clearly geared to elicit an emotional reaction, that feels like a shame.
This is just so good.
Amazing, obviously, but somehow doesn't land for me like other Curtis.
Honestly, couldn't get through it. 1/5
Did not enjoy this one bit.
Pretty excellent piece of pop, all things considered. 1/3 timeless classics, 1/3 decent bops, and 1/3 duds. But the good is _so_ good that it gets 4/5
This was cool. Some really interesting moments. I was very pleasantly surprised.
