1001 Albums Summary

Let It Bleed is one of the most overrated albums ever. Gimme Shelter and You Can’t Always Get What You Want are the only listenable songs in my opinion

Utter rubbish… disgraceful harmonization and pitiful acoustic performance.

Going into this listen, I did not have the greatest impression of Billy Joel, mainly because of songs like Piano Man and Uptown Girl. But I liked the laid-back, piano-driven atmosphere of this diverse collection of nine.

Despite what I expected, the album actually yielded more gems than stinkers. I liked the minimalistic arrangements. But I did not like the corny delivery and the cheesy bars that were exchanged too hastily.
