Tracy ChapmanFeels ahead of its time for 1988. Like this would’ve smashed in 2004 just as hard. Trendsetter.. also some somes with no instruments. Her voice is that good. Some interesting songs too. Kinda like Mr morale and big steppers where he really gets creative with a few story telling songs. Honestly really beautiful. Lots of range. Beautiful voice and intstruments. Can really play it front to back and it’ll be well received in most places.

James Brown Live At The Apollo
James BrownThis is crazy. Live album from 1963. Thank god for technology that we can save these. You almost feel like you are in attendance. I had chills for the first 5-10 minutes of the album.. just a crazy feeling. Seriously cannot get over how good this is live. Hearing people in the background who may or may not still be living. This is great. And to make it even better, these are all one takes.. live.. absolute talent James was. This is so far my favorite
