Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Apr 17 2025

Funkadelic was so ahead of this time. The perfect mix of soul, funk and psicodelic rock. Perfect to listen when you are sick to be sad and complain about the life. Maggot Brain is a kick on the ass when you want to come out of feeling down.

Stankonia by OutKast
Apr 18 2025

The whole album sounded very different to me than the famous hit "Hey, ya". I was very impressed, because I realized that I did knew Outkast good enough. Very good rap. One of the best for sure.

Tommy by The Who
Apr 20 2025

I realized, that sadly I didn't knew too much from them. This changes with this album. From now I will for sure listen more The Who!

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Apr 21 2025

I listened this Album on Eastern Holiday with my kids (6 and 7 yo) while we were building Lego. The album supported perfectly atmosphere. The non typical musical instruments, like the clock sound, caught their curiosity and kept them calm and concentrate. "Wish you were here" is definitely on my list for children.

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Apr 22 2025

This album gives the feeling of a fresh sunny afternoon, at the time I was outside playing adventures with my cousins. A album that uprise a good nostalgic feeling and love for the life. Okay, if you know a bit about the historical context from the 60s, yes, you can understand why this kind of music was made.

Let's Get Killed by David Holmes
Apr 23 2025

I am not a music expert and this one I review just with my feelings. I didn't like it that much. It's nice, perhaps technically good or even for the time relevant and very new. Good as soundtrack, maybe to learn or focus, but not the complete album. The three first Songs were for me a bit too boring or disturbing. I don't need to listen this album one more time.l, but it was nice to know who is David Holmes.

The Predator by Ice Cube
Apr 24 2025

The lyrics are strong and necessary, and the text insertions are cool, but somehow sounds the songs very repetitive as the bits as well.

Out of Step by Minor Threat
Apr 25 2025

That was a good one. Strong, loud and short, like good old punk rock.

Pornography by The Cure
Apr 26 2025

Definitely one of the best of The Cure. I heard the later The Cure for influence of a older cousin when I was a young Teenager. I missed the first albums because I was a baby at the time. This album brought a better understanding why they were considered the most important gothic band at the time. Knowing that Robert Smith planed to commit suicide after the album chocked me, but somehow let me think how powerful, and of course painful, depression can be for the art.

Reign In Blood by Slayer
Apr 28 2025

I am not so the metal person anymore, but this album is actually good. A bit of range brings motion in the life.

Teen Dream by Beach House
May 01 2025

Boring and monotone.

Night Life by Ray Price
May 02 2025

Couldn't not stay on this. Not my taste. It's sounds nice, but I was not on the mood

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
May 06 2025

I knew "Aqualung", but I had no relation to the band and the whole album. I'm glad that I could hear this mixing of Rock, Folk, Gitarre and Flute. I love rock, folk, gitarre and Flute and I will play this one more often.

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
May 07 2025

I like Cindy Lauper very much, but this was the first album I listened to completely. It's interesting how she plays with her voice seeming to imitate a doll or a good girl. However, I was expecting more, I don't know, I guess I don't really like the extreme voice changes.
