good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Apr 21 2025

I can appreciate the realness of the narrative of this album. I love the spiritual theme that rides along with the harsh realities of Compton life. The only song I didn’t really like originally was the freestyle, but it fits its purpose. Right now, without having heard much rap, I would say 4.0.

Odelay by Beck
Apr 22 2025

Had some cool ideas, loved at least two tracks, but at some point started to blend. Did not expect him to speak Spanish, that was awesome.

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Apr 23 2025

Side A nearly perfect, didn’t care too much for battle of evermore for some reason. Side B was cool with one too many blues but still great. A monument of rock.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Apr 24 2025

I have to say, I am looking forward to giving this one a full listen again later on. A great depiction of African American culture in the 70s with some heavy hitters and jams.

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
Apr 25 2025

Two years before Johnny B. Goode. That’s all I gotta say.

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Apr 26 2025

I loved the music, the beat, a couple of solid bangers like is it live and walk this way, but some of the lyrics are just too cheese.

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Apr 27 2025

Old school Americana at its best. Awesome record

Fly Or Die by N.E.R.D
Apr 28 2025

Didn’t care for the first half, as it played on all of the cliches of that era’s Rock. The second half was solid. Not incredible, but it was really cool to see this kind of unique album.

London Calling by The Clash
Apr 29 2025

While I do like the instrumentals, I cannot listen to that voice for more than 20 minutes. Did not finish.

Greetings From L.A. by Tim Buckley
Apr 30 2025

Only one song on here that I wasn’t particularly fond of. The lyrics while pretty basic for its time comes second to its instrumentation and Tim Buckley’s vocals. Was not expecting this.

New Wave by The Auteurs

Fine. First four or so songs he sounds too much like the Beatles. Was better when he sang in the lower register. Pretty standard indie rock sound, but I’m new to britpop.
