I didn’t know wham made a Freeform jazz/bosssnova record. I also probably could have come up with a better example than wham, but my knowledge of 80s British pop isn’t great.

Made me get up and dance in my office and also made me realize that Little Richard only has one volume and that very much explained his tv appearances in the 80s and 90s

I can’t decide if this excellent background music or if it’s terrible since I keep getting distracted trying to listen to the lyrics. The abrupt ending to song one also threw me for a loop. Digging this record though.

Annie Lennox is a miracle. She’s the only thing that salvaged what would have been a bland 80’s record. Had every cliche in the book. A little Spanish, stereotypical synths, not a big fan. Except of Annie’s voice.
