1001 Albums Summary

As the album description says was was already established and not new. Not really as significant as the first Tim with miles davis. Mediocre

Already heard it. It’s grossly overrated it sounds like over polished Blind Melon. They just did a really good job of pushing it was good, and so people repeat, but nobody that is even a fan remembers a song name. Everyone just remembers hallelujah. People should remember his father more.

Every song sounds like one continuous ballad because the singer is a one trick pony, and certainly doesn’t sound like he is or has ever been on any trail. Who ever put this list together wasn’t qualified

Crappy singer who is very thankful for tech, backed by very good musicians. Poor guys.

Popular standard. A bit overrated.

Excellent debut. Really pushes the boundaries of pop with only a little stumbling.

Seriously the people that put this list together over rate too many albums.

The songwriter shows lots of potential, but they were trying too hard to change their reputation, and created a mediocre album musically. From the sounds of it the music rayed mediocre. Tried to hard to remain pop than committing to the song.

It’s a standard for most. I’m particular. No complaints. I’m just more Siouxsie and Peter Murphy than Robert Smith.

A fun sound, that was probably a big influence on K’naan.

Great band not for me.

Perhaps a bad artist saved by a good producer to make a hardly tolerable album. This should be on anyone’s must listen to list, except teaching what not to do.

I just imagine a room full of desk jockeys, with headphones on all thinking they are ones in the know and the rebel. Bul the willretire from their position after nearly 40 years.

Garbage. No one should listen to him. He was just a wanna be John Lennon. Like that one guy that was t banned in Africa was bob dylan for the don’t know any better.
