1001 Albums Summary

Solid debut record, the songwriting isn’t as memorable as the following record Back to Black but the performances from Amy are just as solid. Feels like listening to a generational talent find her bearings on the open mic, smooth jazz circuit.

Listening to a Black Keys record in the year of our Lord 2025, good heavens; takes me back. First half of the album is all bangers and the back half is more groovy blues rock stuff. Overall still as good a listen as it was in 2010 to be honest
