Jimi Hendrix – Axis: Bold As Love (Review) Even in 2025, Axis: Bold As Love holds its weight—an undeniable soundscape that still pushes sonic boundaries. From the jump, the intro sets the tone: psychedelic, raw, and immersive. The second track absolutely hooked me—loved the energy, the layering, the journey it takes you on. “Wait Till Tomorrow” stood out with its storytelling and tight groove—classic Hendrix charisma. “Little Wing” is, as always, one of my favourites. It’s delicate but powerful, a spiritual moment in the album. Jimi paints emotion through every note, and it hits just as deep decades later. “If 6 Was 9”? That’s pure, unfiltered Hendrix. Rebellious, weird, and poetic. A statement track. And “You Got Me Floating” is banging—those upbeat drums and classic blues riffs are electric. The bassline practically forces you to move. Timeless. Hendrix still floats above most.

Kate Bush – Hounds of Love (Review) Of course, everyone knows “Running Up That Hill” – and for good reason. It's an incredible opener that still holds so much emotional weight. The 80s synths are unmistakable, but what really stands out is the depth of the songwriting. It’s bold, theatrical, and full of feeling. I especially loved the second track, “Hounds of Love” – it’s punchy, dramatic, and showcases Kate’s unique style. That said, while I appreciated the artistry, this isn’t an everyday album for me. Some of the tracks felt a little dated, and the overall style doesn’t quite match my usual taste. Still, there’s no denying Kate Bush’s voice is stunning, and Hounds of Love remains a powerful and important record. Just not one I’d play on repeat.

Reggatta de Blanc – The Police I enjoyed this album, but would I buy it? Probably not. I think there are stronger albums out there with more of that reggae-inspired sound. That said, it does have some classics—Walking on the Moon is a standout for me. I love that track.
