This album was lyrically very beautiful. Although the instrumental elements did not resonate with me as much, the powerful lyrics help this album stand out for me.
I honestly did not get entirely through this album - I was busy and it also just did not capture me. Fun, and clearly influential of current pop. However, I struggled to connect with many of the lyrics.
This album had great sound, explosive lyrics and was a fun listen. Personally, it leans a little heavier into rock than my preferences tend to lie but the angsty lyrics, punk-ish energy, and beat was great.
First listen: sweet and boppy - I enjoy the light-hearted energy of the album. The lyrics are joyful, floral, with depth and literary prose. Simple, but poetic. I really enjoyed the songs Changes and This Will Be Our Year.
