Apocalypse Dudes
TurbonegroI like punk but this is really just not for me. Sounds to much like it belongs in a Rated T for Teen Tony Hawk game. Only song I can say I somewhat enjoyed was Zillion Dollar Sadist. Will not listen again.

Feels like this is what punk was before they started calling it punk. Some of the vocals get a little mismatched with the music for my taste but I did like a good amount of this album. Also seems like this lady is incredibly horny. Highlights “Precious” “Space Invaders”
Tutti frutti
Me and this album have a lot in common. Angsty, neurotic, and whining about a girl that’s no good for you. This is my first 5 star of the 1001 album generator redux. I can say I enjoyed each song on this album from the jumpy and quick start with “Blister in the sun” to its melancholic yet up beat conclusion in “Good Feeling”. It’s definitely set the bar for what I consider a 5 star album. I’m disappointed that I never dove into the Violent Femmes outside of “Blister in the Sun” but they will now be included in my daily rotation. Every song on this album is a highlight for me but my clear favorite was “To The Kill” with “Add It Up” a close 2nd. 5 stars ,10 outta 10, and 5 big booms. Will be listening to this when women make me sad (every day)
I feel like for this review thing to make sense I need to listen to an album in its entirety regardless if I enjoy it or not. This album was an exception. I could not get through more than 4 and a half songs. It just felt like noise. Call me uncultured or incapable of understanding the “complexity” of whatever this is, but I will never be listening to it again.
Not something I’m gonna listen to all the time but I could definitely appreciate it. Also I’m 99% sure Stevie Wonder isn’t actually blind. Highlights “Superstition” “Tuesday Heartbreak”
