The Dreaming by Kate Bush
May 31 2025

I really enjoyed this album, it was very thought provoking. There were a lot of eclectic and experimental moments. Kate has a beautiful voice throughout the tracks, and it's beautifully accompanied with her more emotional lyrics. My favourite track is very much 'All The Love', that spoke to me. In particular the 24 year old me who questioned her friendships reciprocity. Gorgeous song, Gorgeous album. Get Out Of My House, was also a stand out. The titular lyric screamed with such emotion was powerful. I would listen again.

Sea Change by Beck
Jun 02 2025

Very emotional. Not quite the Beck I thought I knew, which is cool. This felt very introspective and somber at times.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Jun 03 2025

A classic. Opening was fantastic. Had a great energy throughout. If you need one album for a party, this would be it.

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Jun 04 2025

I liked this, there was a good mix between the songs, yet they were still obviously rolling stones songs. Excellent choice with ending the album with You can't always get what you want. Great all around.

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Jun 05 2025

I don't like when art is used to spread hate towards anyone. I've listened to this when I was younger, and less able to challenge certain views. But yeah, with older ears, the only enjoyable part of this album are the beats. The lyrics are trash, and haven't aged well at all.

Jun 06 2025

Nice. Quite grungy. I really enjoyed Something So Clear, and Broken Hands. Fuzz Gun '91 surprised me too. This was my introduction to Mudhoney. I will likely listen to more.

Hotel California by Eagles
Jun 07 2025

This was very soft. It was hazy, in a way. Dreamlike. The Last Resort was a great finisher for the album. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning. New Kid in Town was great. I hear Hotel California and Life In The Fast Lane weekly. Victim Of Love will be getting more plays by me. Fantastic album.

The Doors by The Doors
Jun 10 2025

Classic. Quite psychedelic at times.
