1001 Albums Summary

Haven't heard this album before. Enjoyed the feminist message and the instrumentals were pretty nice. Heavy without sounding heavy. Wasn't the biggest fan of the vocal timbre but that's to be expected with punk. Glad I have listened to this album but I don't think I'll come back to it any time soon. 3/5

I've listened to their album before this (Attack and Release) and enjoyed it but I don't think I've ever listened to Brothers all the way through before. Opening track wasn't my favorite just because of the vocals but Next Girl and Tighten Up both have the vocals I remember from The Black Keys. I've heard Howling for You many times before but I just didn't know that was the name of the track. 4/5
