3.5/5 high energy first half of classic Elvis ballads before the back half of album has a brilliant stretch from In The Ghetto through to Kentucky Rain that lifts the album
Bit too unconventional and quirky for me, has the foundation of something of really like but feels too all over the place
Found it too self indulgent, some amazing songs in Free Money and Gloria but overall to inconsistent
4/5. Fantastic album, although feel like the live recordings are cheating a bit. See Nirvana in a new light after this. Always liked a few songs from them, but this really hit the spot. Can see the early grunge influence and raw talent of Cobain
