1001 Albums Summary

Love the opener I think it sounds very good and skepta has some really good bars. It kind of sets the mood for the rest of the album. In my opinion the little skits at the end of songs like crime riddim bring the whole theme of the album together, that being showing the lifestyle of young people in London's streets. A very important album in the UK grime and rap scene. Only gripe I have with the album is that I feel that Ladies hit squad doesn't really appeal to me. Although I like the beat, asap nast's hook doesn't really do it for me. Overall, 8/10

Really like the rock elements and surprisingly I don't mind the folk songs. Favourite song is definitely since I've been loving you. Album falls off on the last two tracks tho. I've got no idea about what happened with that last track. Overall a good 7.5/10.

Intro is insane. I love the kind of buildup all the way through. I also enjoy the calm bit of production on the third track. The fourth I love the end explosion with the tempo becoming faster. I LOVE crown of love, especially the switch and the lead vocalists voice. The outro was very good too. Overall I'd rate the album a solid 8/10. Consistent throughout.

Maybe I really don't like every genre. As a first impressions of jazz, dare I say that I found this album quiet boring. I get the whole spirituality theme of it but I just don't see how anyone could figure that out while listening. I liked some segments I guess.
