1001 Albums Summary

I hadn’t heard of these before so had to google them. I would have thought they were a British band if I hadn’t researched them first. Remind me of UK acts like Level 42 and Curiosity Killed the Cat. I didn’t hate this but after a while, the songs sounded rather samey. I’d have to listen to it again but wouldn’t hated to listen to it again

The only song from Costello that I knew was Oliver’s Army and I always thought he’d be of the punk genre like the Clash but this album seems more Ska to me due to the reggae influences in it. Wasn’t expecting to like this but I did. A lot more upbeat than I expected

I love this album. I’ve heard it many times before. Snoop is one of my favourite rap artists.

I knew of the Wu-Tang Clan because of member ODB and Method Man’s solo stuff but never listened to them as a group. I do prefer west coast to east coast rap but this was good. I will keep this on my phone and listen again, maybe when working alone in the office.

I’m not a fan of the Beach Boys so I wasn’t too excited about listening to this. I think this was going to be a Beach Boys album before it got canned so I feel this is a BB album. It was okay and not unpleasant to listen to but I’m not sure I’d listen again. Brian contributed a lot to music though and I respect that RIP

I had heard of Judas Priest but I’m Not big on heavy metal bands, especially those from the UK. When listening, I found that I knew one song that song was breaking the law. The album was good didn’t want to turn it off but I probably wouldn’t listen to it again.

This one wasn’t for me. I’m not an Indie fan and this bored me. I couldn’t finish it

This was not for me. This was just consistent noise and I couldn’t listen to it all
