definitely was not what i was expecting from a co founder of genesis, and i was surprised at first! but then of course because peter gabriel was in genesis, the music turns to shit :((( here’s a bunch of artists who achieved what this album was going for and more BEFORE this album: David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Brian Eno, Talking Heads, Elvis Costello, and GARY FREAKIN NUMAN. halfway through, you’ll be thinking, “why am i still listening to this?”

phenomenal album, no lcd sound system without them. like literally, one of the songs sounds like get innocuous. another musical group who was pioneering electronic music before that peter gabriel album from earlier. also stupidest shit ever that there’s no new albums on the weekend, thought it was an album a day???

most overrated band, maybe of all time? have no idea what makes this band special other than eddie vedder’s annoying vocals. and it shows since they fell the fuck off after their second record :///
