1001 Albums Summary

1. Not my thing.

I liked this. Not an album I'd put in my regular rotation, but one I enjoyed nonetheless. Bluesy, confident and cool. Would've loved a bit more variation, like when they brought in the acoustic more for Me and Bobby McGee, but that's a personal preference.

hard to put this any lower than 4 - it's well made, distinct, good lyrics and culturally significant. the only thing that docks it for me is personal preference - while a unique voice is often good, for some reason, I don't gel with Armstrong's. but, thats a nitpick. wish i could put 4.5

wow. This is exactly what I've been looking for. This is an extremely subjective rating, but 4/5. It's just my kind of sound, and I enjoyed almost all the songs (can't give it a perfect 5 though) - if I could, I'd give it 4.5.
