When I received this record as my to listen to before I die, it confirmed I am living a meaningful existence because I've listened to this one countless times and hold it dear. "...and if your head explodes with dark forebodings too, I'll see you on the dark side.of the moon".

Harry's earnest voice was felt in every note he sang. I loved the organ used throughout. I had my ears heard this in 1973 I'd given it five stars but my gen X 2025 ears award it three.

A melodic splendor from start to finish and one I am glad I have now listened to before I kick off! Songs Coat Of Many Colors and The Mystery Of Yhe Mystery stole my.heart.

I'm an unabashed sucker for a concept album and for gazing into the human abyss and both are sumptuously satisfied with this album. I've listened to it countless times as a teen and it hits different now as a middle aged lady who's seen some things. It's a musical, lyrical, and enginerical masterpiece to boot.

I'm feeling Choosy like Susie.

I am not a ZZ Top fan however, I can acknowledge that they have a knack for cool guitar riffs that'll hook one into thinking that maybe just maybe they'll win you over only to be disappointed that your relationship with that can't go to the next level.
