1001 Albums Summary

**C+** Some songs have a discernible groove, most do not. I prefer the skits to the songs, and I don’t like the skits all that much.

The most sold album of all time is also the most signified! Although, once you get past that maybe you can appreciate how perfectly all these songs stand on their own. Will revisit later

Marley and his band need no introduction. In any case, I am too young to give it to you. As someone who gets annoyed by Don’t Worry be Happy but likes Buffalo Soldier, I was curious as to how I’d respond to this. My punk leanings are quick to dismiss Marley’s seemingly easygoing and positive disposition, but his politics are clear—and there’s no denying that the sounds here are purdy.

All very interesting but not enough to catch my interest on this first listen. ***
