Talking Timbuktu
Ali Farka TourΓ©I really like this, it's exactly why I did this album a day thing. Something I would never have found otherwise. Loved the vibes, is it blues? Love it anyway.
I quite enjoyed it. It's definitely my genre, even the spoken bits I enjoyed given I haven't listened to music in a long time. Favourite thing was how much piano and sax there could be and then it was just kind of camp at times too.
I enjoyed it less, I didn't listen to it all because of how the day panned out, but I wasn't really bothered not to be able to hear more. The first track I could tell it was well made and that and there were fun elements but it definitely wasn't my thing
Very nostalgic, this was a big deal when I was in high school. I recognised a lot of singers as ones you would hear often.

Delighted a Bowie album came up. Exactly what I hoped for. So glad to see it early in the process. Exactly the type of music I moulded myself on, though I've never just sat and listened to an album start to finish.
I enjoyed it, one or two I recognised father and son in particular. Was a different mood than I was expecting.
I just can't get into slipknot, might be unfair for me to review but as a reflection of my taste it's low. I did have an old friend who really likes them (and korn) I just never could.
Really enjoyed this one. Strange though, slipknot was the album the day before and it almost reminded me of it at the start (no idea why more like a vibe thing than any reason) and yet I loved this. This corrosion especially.
I enjoyed it for the vibe, I think this process is just confirming I vibe with the decade in particular, which I always told myself but now I guess there's proof?
